Kweku was the Chief Financial Officer and a Board member of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana from September 2016 to September 2021.

During the period, he was responsible for providing leadership and played a critical role in the delivery of financial controls and maintenance of high standards in finance and regulatory reporting in addition to tax risk management of the Bank.

Kweku has a strong finance, regulatory and audit background. He was the Financial Controller for Standard Chartered Bank from June 2009 till August 2015. Prior to this, Kweku held various positions including Regulatory Reporting Manager and Financial Controls Manager from the same bank.

Before joining Standard Chartered Bank in 2005, Kweku worked with the Banking Supervision Department of the Bank of Ghana for a period of eight (8) years as a Bank Examiner. Prior to that, he worked with Deloitte for a period of three (3) years from 1997.

He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and holds a BSc Administration (Accounting option) and an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School.

He was the first and immediate past president of the CFOs Network of the Ghana Association of Bankers.
